Animated Olympic & Paralympic Billboards

In November 2025 I was asked to join the CBC/Radio-Canada Marketing & Communications team in Toronto and help them get ready for the Milano-Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games by providing graphic design support and motion design support.

One of the assignments was the creation of four animated billboards to be displayed over the Rogers Store on Sankofa Square in downtown Toronto. All designs and looks were already prepared and approved by CBC/Radio-Canada and the COC. My contribution consisted of preparing layouts, animate them and prepare the files for delivery.

A challenge was to combine the individual images of the athletes and para athletes and create the appearance of a group shot as the individual phots were created under various lighting conditions.

Note: The Rogers storefront image serves to illustrate the location of the billboards. The corner curve was incorporated into the design.
